More paths than words alone
Approaches & Modalities
An integrative approach to therapy
No single method fits every person, every nervous system, or every wound. My work is integrative, which means I draw from both evidence-based and creative modalities and thoughtfully shape the process around you rather than asking you to fit yourself into a predetermined model.
Depending on what feels most supportive, our work may include EMDR, somatic expereincing and attachment-based approaches, mindfulness, parts work, expressive arts, imagery, ritual, dream exploration, or spiritual and existential reflection. Some moments may call for structure and practical tools; others may invite slowing down, listening inward, or making room for what has not yet had language.
We will remain curious about what helps you feel safer, more connected, and more fully yourself. Your preferences, boundaries, culture, lived experience, and ways of making meaning are not side notes to the work—they help guide it. Healing is rarely linear, and our approach can evolve as you do.
My role is not to impose a formula, but to bring a wide range of tools, careful attunement, and a willingness to meet you where you are. Together, we create a process that feels grounded, responsive, and alive.
You’re the expert on yourself. I bring the tools; together we find the ones that fit.

The approaches I draw from
Internal Family Systems
Getting to know the parts of you.
IFS understands the mind as a system of parts: the protector, the wounded one, the inner critic, each carrying a role and a history. Instead of fighting these parts, we turn toward them with curiosity.
Somatic and body-based work
Because trauma lives in the body, not just the story.
Trauma and stress are held in the nervous system, not only in memory. Somatic work helps you notice, tolerate, and release what the body has been carrying.
Jungian dreamwork and depth psychology
Listening to what the unconscious is saying.
Dreams, images, and symbols are messages from the deeper self. Depth-oriented work takes them seriously, not to decode them like puzzles, but to let them reveal what’s moving beneath the surface.
Expressive and creative arts
Where art becomes insight.
When words run out, image, writing, and movement can carry what we can’t yet say. You don’t need to be an artist. Creative process becomes a way to access and metabolize experience.
Nature-based therapy
The more-than-human world as co-therapist.
The natural world regulates, humbles, and reconnects us. Nature-based work brings the living world into the healing process, as metaphor, as grounding, as belonging.
Animal-assisted therapy
Trust, built through presence.
As a Pet Partners registered team, I offer animal-assisted therapy for clients who find safety and connection through the steady, non-judging presence of an animal.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Making room for what’s hard, moving toward what matters.
ACT helps you unhook from painful thoughts and feelings, not by erasing them but by changing your relationship to them, so you can act on your values even when it’s uncomfortable.
Gestalt and humanistic therapy
Meeting this moment, as you are.
Rooted in the belief that you already carry the capacity to grow, this work stays present-centered and relational. We attend to what’s alive right now, trusting awareness itself as a path to change.
Psychedelic integration
Making meaning of what the medicine opened.
Whether from ketamine work with me or a psychedelic experience elsewhere, integration is how insight becomes lasting change. I offer a grounded, non-judgmental space to process and embody what emerged.
How it comes together
You won’t get a rigid protocol. In practice these approaches blend: an EMDR session that becomes somatic, a dream that opens into parts work, a creative exercise that unlocks what talk couldn’t. The through-line is always the same, trauma-informed, relational, and paced by your safety. The method serves you, never the other way around.
Not sure which fits?
You don’t need to choose the method. Bring what you’re carrying, and we’ll find the way in together.
